Digital preservation of the journal Acta Tecnologia comprises a set of processes and activities designed to ensure long-term access to digital scholarly content. These processes ensure that information published in electronic form is securely stored, backed up, and preserved to maintain its availability over time.

The electronic content of Acta Tecnologia is stored across multiple independent sources. The journal is published online and is accessible to readers via the central journal server. In addition, identical backup copies of all published articles are securely maintained on the servers of the University Library in Bratislava, which provides long-term institutional support for content preservation.

In the event that the journal is forced to cease publication due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, all articles previously published in Acta Tecnologia will remain accessible to readers through preserved archival copies and institutional repositories.
